Morpho Travel Experience took part in ACI-LAC/World WAGA 2026 in Lima, one of the leading gatherings for the international airport industry. As the company celebrates 25 years of experience and 23 years of presence in Peru, Morpho joined key conversations about the future of non-aeronautical business, passenger experience, and the role of local identity in creating value within airports.

As part of the event agenda, Adriana Echandi, CEO of Morpho Travel Experience, participated in the panel “The Future of Airport Non-Aeronautical Business and Customer Experience” alongside leaders from Lagardère Travel Retail, Lima Airport, Vantage Group, and Airport Dimensions. The discussion addressed passenger-centered commercial planning, the use of insights to develop more relevant offers, the integration of retail, food and beverage, lounges, and digital services, and the importance of stronger collaboration between airports and concessionaires. Adriana also shared Morpho’s vision of Sense of Place: connecting millions of travelers with the colors, flavors, stories, and people of Latin America while creating opportunities for local communities.

This vision also came to life at the Morpho stand, where attendees experienced a sample of the concepts the company develops across its operations, including Peruvian coffee and chocolate, local products, handicrafts, and live demonstrations. The space also featured David Pimentel, a master of Andean alpaca textiles, and Rosa Lymaylla, an artisan dedicated to the art of burilado, both members of CLA, Comunidad Latinoamericana de Artesanos. Their participation brought Peruvian talent and traditions closer to an international audience, reinforcing the connection between local identity, communities, and the commercial experience.

WAGA 2026 also provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with airports, operators, and strategic partners, exchange perspectives, and continue building new opportunities for collaboration. For Morpho, events like this are a valuable platform to share knowledge, present its value proposition to key industry stakeholders, and continue advancing a vision in which passenger experience connects human value, local identity, and commercial performance.
