CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN (CPK) CONTINUES TO EXPAND IN COSTA RICA WITH A NEW RESTAURANT AT JUAN SANTA

Travelers can enjoy a new restaurant, with over 400m2 and has a capacity for 172 people. It offers a delightful and dynamic menu.

Starting this week, travelers can enjoy eating at a restaurant of over 400 m2 (4300 sq ft) and with capacity for 172 people. The restaurant complements the recently opened food court at the airport, where takeout orders are also available.

"CPK is steadily expanding in Costa Rica, and we are very proud that Morpho Travel Experience is accompanying this process to further enhance the passenger experience at Juan Santamaría Airport. The extensive menu and authentic flavor of the brand, offering all-day breakfasts, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, dessert options, and the brand's signature cocktails, will be part of the gastronomic offering available to travelers," said Adriana Echandi, CEO of Morpho Travel Experience.

The alliance that allowed the presence of the restaurant chain at Juan Santamaría Airport was based on Morpho's experience with high-quality products and the celebration of local cultures and communities, thus facilitating CPK's global expansion.

In August 2022, Morpho Travel Experience first introduced CPK to a Latin American airport, specifically Arturo Merino Benítez in Santiago, Chile. Additionally, the business group also has a presence in its Food and Beverage division in Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile, with 14 locations in formats such as bars, restaurants, and cafes.

The new CPK restaurant is located next to boarding gate number 8 at Juan Santamaría International Airport. Its implementation represents an investment of $1.5 million and the creation of 45 new jobs positions.

CPK's expansion plan aims to open various options in shopping centers and plazas, with the intention of opening at least three more locations in Costa Rica.
