Today, at Santiago Airport – Nuevo Pudahuel, the Airports Council International – Latin America and Caribbean (ACI-LAC) held the Airports Commercial Forum, and we were proud to be part of a valuable discussion on the present and future of the airport commercial experience in South America.
Our Administrative Director and Country Manager for Chile, Atilio Derosas Ugarte, participated in a panel discussion highlighting the importance of collaboration between VIP lounges and airport retail. The conversation focused on how this synergy enhances the entire airport ecosystem.
Later, Javier Villarroel Vivero, our Image and Experience Manager, gave a presentation on how local flavor and sense of place are integrated into the commercial offer, creating memorable experiences that resonate with passengers and reflect the identity of each destination.
This could not have come at a better time: today also marks the 18th anniversary of our operations in Chile, since the opening of our first store at Santiago Airport. A milestone that reaffirms our commitment to the development of the industry and to creating unique experiences for all travelers passing through our airports.
As an active part of the commercial footprint in South American airports, we are deeply grateful to ACI-LAC for inviting us to be part of this valuable space for the Latin American airport industry.
We look forward to continuing to take part in initiatives that strengthen the region’s growth. We're committed to keeping the connection alive—one experience at a time.
